KOOLPOLY is an advanced moisture activated cooling technology based on novel polyol- hydrophilic polymer system that binds to fibres, when it comes in contact with moisture/sweat generates a cooling effect. It also helps to enhance absorbency, wicking & quick dry properties.
The performance is maintained through multiple washing cycles.
KOOLPOLY is applicable for polyester & its blends (Fibre/Fabric/Garment) with constant direct skin contact. The application quantity of KOOLPOLY is used according to the type of the substrate, the application process, finishing combinations and the wash durability requirement. Regular dosage is: 3.0 to 7.0 % (OWF)
It can be easily run in any mill set-up without making any big changes.
It is a functional finish that enhances comfort by providing cooling efficacy upto 2.5 °C with optimum dosage evaluated by IR Thermal Imaging Camera when comes in contact with sweat/moisture.
Textiles treated with KOOLPOLY enhances wearer comfort, complements the skin’s natural moisture transportation system and controls thermal cooling.
Cooling efficiency can be evaluated by internal protocol using IR Thermal Imaging Camera.
KOOLPOLY is GOTS, ZDHC-LEVEL 3 approved. The active components are RSL and TSCA compliant.
