N9 Plastix Aqua is available as a powder additive which can be used to prepare masterbatches. It is also available as a masterbatch for ready to use.
Silver, known for its antimicrobial properties works on the different pathways of reproduction of the microbes to inhibit the multiplication and keeps the treated surfaces free from microbes.
When used as an additive, it is recommended to use 20% of the product along with the virgin polymer to make a 20% masterbatch.
When used as a masterbatch, it is recommended to use 2- 3% of the masterbatch to make the final article.
