What kind of value does this add to a textile?
It imparts anti-bacterial & freshness properties to the textile thus keeping it fresh & hygienic. It is quite cost-effective compared to many available antibacterial products in the market.

It is mainly developed for textiles; however, it can be used in leather.
PUREPEL is an advanced fluorocarbon-free water repellent agent based on a hydrophobic reactive polymer designed to impart excellent water repellency together with wash durability.
It is applicable to both cotton and synthetic fibres.
The performance is maintained through multiple soft/mild washing cycles for 20 washes with addition of durability extender PUREPEL EXT.
It can be easily run in any mill set-up without making any big changes.
PUREPEL is based on modified hydrophobic polymer which is totally fluorine free and gives excellent water repellency without hampering breathability. It maintains hand feel of the treated article.
Water Spray test – AATCC 22.
PUREPEL is fluorine free chemistry and ZDHC-LEVEL 1 approved. The active components are RSL compliant.
It is defined as the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum between X-rays and visible light with a wavelength range of 40–400 nanometers.
As per ISO 21348, it can be subdivided into three types which are as follows:
UV-A (Soft UV, long wave) – 315-400 nm
UV-B (Intermediate UV, medium wave UV) – 280-315 nm
UV-C (hard UV, Short wave UV) – 200-280 nm
Of the ultraviolet radiation that reaches the Earth’s surface, more than 95% is the longer wavelengths of UV-A, with the small remainder UV-B. Almost no UV-C reaches the Earth’s surface.
